Yoga Fundamental Philosophy (10:30), 90 min

Deepen your understanding of yoga through this two-part workshop — perfect for beginners and practitioners wishing to reconnect with the roots of this ancient practice.

Explore the foundations of yoga philosophy and how they connect to daily practice.
Learn essential breathwork and bandha techniques — the subtle energy locks that are vital to yoga yet often overlooked in open classes — along with key postures and exercises that support all styles of yoga.
This session helps you understand how to use the tools of yoga with clarity and purpose, fostering a deeper connection to its true essence in your future practice.

Yoga Fundamentals Practice (12:00), 60 min

Following the philosophy session, this practical class brings understanding into embodied experience.

In this guided practice, you will apply the breathwork (pranayama), bandhas, and key alignment principles introduced earlier. The sequence focuses on foundational postures that form the base of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, taught with clear instruction, mindful pacing, and space to explore.

Rather than moving quickly from pose to pose, we emphasize awareness — how to breathe correctly, how to engage subtle energy locks, and how to build stability and ease in each posture. You will learn how to transition with intention, protect your body, and cultivate strength, mobility, and balance from a grounded foundation.

This class is suitable for beginners and equally valuable for experienced practitioners who wish to refine technique, correct habits, and reconnect with the essence of yoga practice.

By the end, you will not only know what to do in a yoga class — but why you are doing it, and how to practice with intelligence and depth.
