Restorative Yoga Class
Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that focuses on relaxation and rejuvenation.
In a restorative yoga class, students will typically hold passive poses for 15-20 minutes, using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to support the body and allow for deep relaxation. The emphasis is on releasing stress, calming the mind, and making space for self healing.
The class is suitable for all levels, including those recovering from injury, illness or burnout.
Part of the class will be dedicated to breathing and/or meditation practice, to enhance the restorative benefits.
